Verustat, a full-service remote patient monitoring (RPM) system, has acquired Texas-based One Healthcare SolutionTM (OneHS).
OneHS’s chronic care software will help strengthen Verustat’s commitment to providing physicians with top-tier medical technology to improve patient care while also opening up new revenue streams. The software expansion will allow Verustat to integrate with a practice’s existing electronic medical record system and enable physicians to create automated, customized care plans for a host of chronic illnesses and conditions.
“One Healthcare Solution’s premier software and expertise in EMR integration will allow us to support practice owners and physicians more than ever before,” said Emmet Seibels, President of Verustat. “Integrating OneHS’s capabilities into our current Remote Patient Monitoring platform will allow physicians to provide more services to patients in their homes.”
If interested in the product expansion, existing Verustat clients will have the option to add Chronic Care Management, Annual Wellness Visits and Medication Reconciliation to their current Verustat services. New Verustat clients can choose the entire suite or decide between Remote Patient Monitoring and the three new product offerings.
“We’ve seen the great work that Verustat is doing by providing both the technology and the staff for RPM providers and we are excited to join forces with them,” said Scott Killingsworth, VP of Product at Verustat and founder of OneHS. “Verustat is one of the few RPM companies with clinical data proving their effectiveness – our technology will increase their range of services for chronically ill patients.”
